Priority handling during household emergencies

This evening I was hanging out with Dad and enjoying a nice splash around in the bath. All very normal until Mum suddenly decided to do some arc welding in the kitchen.

Basically there was a squeal from Mum, then a huge cracking noise and a massive flash of light from the kitchen.

Although Dad has considerable experience in household emergencies, Mum was quick to tell him that even if she may be electrocuted that’s no excuse for leaving me unattended in the bath!
