All good things must come to an end

All good things must come to an end. As Eli’s travel journal told us, time was up!

The boat docked in New Orleans overnight and we had to high-tail it off the boat at the first opportunity. Mum had defied recommedations (oops!) and booked us an early flight. Luckily after all these late nights we were still early risers…not!

On the way to the airport there WAS however time for a little sightseeing past Metairie cemetary as we hadn’t made it there earlier in the trip.

Then the flights (we went via Houston) home went off without a hitch and we were very happily home-sweet-home!

Where to next?

Living in the lap of luxury & being waited on certainly seems the way to go when you have adoring parents & a sense of adventure. Keep on with the Wallamble – it is a great experience to follow your travels! xxxx Auntie Di & Uncle Pete
