Standing ovation

Last night, I had a spot of fun with the olds…
I was lying down on a pillow and drinking my bottle.
Meanwhile Mum & Dad were finishing off their dinners.
When I decided that what the room needed was a bit of excitement.

So I put my bottle down, got the eye contact of mum and dad, and then stood up – without holding on to anything for support. As soon as mum and dad began to clap, I knew I had their attention – so I lay back down and returned to my bottle. I was cool as a cucumber but mum and dad were very excited. They were startled at first of course but very proud that I had a new skill.

I was just checking that I can still get their attention when I want it!
