The Mummers kick off the new year

We finally made it down to Philly to see the Mummers.
A little Philly colour…
It is the police who wear balaclavas on days like today…
We checked out the parade….
they threw candy into the crowd 🙂
(at 9am in the morning…!)
All the cool people were there – batman, the Pope, Elvis and us!
and the show was incredible…
Plus the mandatory posing with the stars of the show…
It was a fun day trip 🙂
