We woke up to a beautiful snow-filled day!
(the consensus seems to be about 28-29 inches)…

After clearing the side walks

we grabbed our sleds and headed down the Memorial Park hill (along with the rest of Maplewood!)

It was the perfect storm!
… it was light and fluff and easy to shoevel off the side walk
…it made for a smooth trip down the hill and a soft landing
…it was contained to the weekend and so did not create any commuting night mares.
…we had plenty of warning and so could be prepared
…we enjoyed a super chilled guilt free relaxing day yesterday – because everything was cancelled.
…and we kept power!
