Okay so today was all about R&R – breakfast, a workout and a massage. Thanks India you’ve been incredible but it is home to my family time now. An absolutely incredible week that was beyond my expectations in amazing. Until next time xx

So our exploration of Varanasi continued with an early morning walk along the Ganges from ghat to ghat…

then we flew back to Delhi in the afternoon 🙂 Another incredible day 🙂

We arrived in Varanasi and found out hotel on the Ganges

In the evening we took a boat trip along the Ganges

Up to the evening ceremony. It was very special

Back for dinner and bed. Another amazing day!

A fancy breakfast

First up to the old Fort…

and a tour around Jaipur with our driver…

Including Jantar Mantar and it’s incredible astrology tools

and the oppulent City Palace

and then an afternoon flight (check out the inflight meal – we paid $6 and upgraded to first class with a meal and priority boarding)

to Varanasi

A morning safari…and YES we got to see tigers 🙂

then in the afternoon we transferred to Jaipur.

The late afternoon and onwards was spent catching up over a cold ale 🙂 With a haveli hotel this nice why leave? Note our selfie with Alsisar the orignal owner 😉

So we got up crazy early to watch sun rise *somewhat* over the Taj Mahal…

Then we walked back to out hotel

We were off, first stop Fatepur Sikh

..and the mosque next door

lunch at a roadside restaurant

Then we drove

to Ranthambore National Park and our lovely cabin in the park  with it’s amazing onsite farm 🙂

Half day Delhi including Humayun’s Tomb

Half day tour included the Jama Masjid mosque & gardens, India Gate, Lotus temple…
