After another beautiful rooftop breakfast…

We headed to the airport to exchange gifts and catch our flight to Sihanoukville

where we had a look around town…

lunch…

bought supplies for the island…

and then caught a ferry to a beautiful island in time for an afternoon cocktail…

where we would relax for the next few days 🙂

We got back from dinner later that evening to find that the elf had crash landed in our room!!! There is no escaping this elf 😉

then back to HCM City for lunch

and a little more exploring. One stop was at the Central Market where we did the Christmas challenge – we broke into pairs and had $20 to buy the others Christmas presents. Game on!

…and it doesn’t pay to go to the bathroom mid-flight because you get back and your seat has been re-purposed…

Then we arrived into Ho Chi Mihn late at night

We’re off to meet David & Annette in Vietnam for Christmas.

Check out Eli’s preferred lovely travel attire…we’re lucky they let her on the plane! (she hates the smell of airplane food)

When we go away we often like to do our Chrissy presents before we leave. One of the really lovely traditions we have is Maryanne’s (a friend from my work) has made us brownies every Christmas that we’ve been in the US. Today Lachie got to have them for breakfast!!!
