Snorkelling with hump backs!
Inspired by our very active friends (we’d been lazing by the pool all days) – we booked a snorkelling trip ten minutes off the beach from the resort. It was incredible!!!
On the way out we saw sea turtles, as we snorkelled amongst the schools of fishies – our guide showed us sea stars and a puffer fish. To make an fantastic snorkel even more amazing – a mother and baby humpback whale swam past us just 20 feet away. It was amazing!!!
Thanks Liz for convincing us to come!!! (if it had of been up to us – we’d have stayed lazing by the pool!)

SJdS – Goodbye Nica
SJdS – a touch of Paradise
For our last night in San Juan del Sur (and in fact Nicaragua) – we splurged and booked ourselves into a luxurious ecolodge. It was amazing!
After our Spanish class in the morning, we headed out to the resort for a luxurious & relaxing afternoon / evening 🙂
back at our villa
and their own farm-to-table meals…
it was pretty magical 🙂

Turbot can do anything
Nathan’s company had their first annual offsite this week. As a thank you they sent flowers to the partners of the Turbot team. I feel sorry for poor Elliott who had to track down a florist that could deliver to San Juan del Sur in the south of Nicaragua. However it does prove that Turbot can do anything!
