Family Trifecta
Today we attempted and successfully completed the family trifecta – run, play, dance – all in one day. It never rains it pours.
Kickoff was at 8am in Central park for my first 10k…
Followed by Eli’s piano recital
(who hit it out of the park – thanks Fabian!)
Finalised by Lachie’s dance concert…
(with a fierce performance!)
We had a lot to celebrate at dinner time 🙂
Dad took the award though for being the BEST pit crew ever 🙂

Makos
We have a new word in our family vocabulary….MAKOS. The Maplewood Swim team. Eli has decided she wants to join and be at training at 7am through the summer…and freezing try outs at 8am in early June…brrrrrrrrrrr:
Lach was not having a bar of it! Eli has promised she will have herself up for training every morning as we don’t want to be dragging ourselves and her up. Let’s see how that goes???
The day continued with softball for Eli and a game up pickup football for the brothers (in the second photo – look in the distance behind the softball field)
and then girl scouts to earn their gardening badge – rain/hail/shine 🙂
