Dubai is too hot for chocolate…so mum wrote a note to the Easter Bunny and asked him to lay our eggs (if any?) at home.
Eli & Lachie asked if the Easter Bunny was real?
We asked them to decide.
They then negotiated to be the first ones in the house when we arrived home from Dubai (mum + dad waited outside!) to see…

A little culture
After breakfast, we thought we’d learn a little more about the local culture:
Off to see the Burj
Mainland Dubai
Then we headed to mainland Dubai – the most multicultural place we’ve ever seen.
Even with our pasty winter tan, we fit right in 🙂
Even Gordon loves Atlantis
The aquarium at Atlantis was amazing and the best buffet breakfast we’ve ever seen! The water park was huge!
 
As a special treat, after watching episode on episode of Masterchef – we went to Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant for Beef Wellington. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype but the sundae bar did!
Atlantis Paradise
We were lucky enough to have the first two nights at Atlantis (along with the Easter bunny). It was incredible!
 
 
With it’s inner core aquarium – it was just beautiful!
There are no photos of the days because we were too busy whizzing around the water park! We had a great time 🙂
Meet you halfway
Nathan has been in India last week, so we thought we’d meet him half way in Dubai for Spring break.
