Sus’ whirlwind tour
Sus timed her visit perfectly as today is Columbus Day. One of those public holidays that B gets but noone else in the house gets. So we headed into NYC for a little sightseeing.
First stop the always lovely High Line
Chelsea market for super yummy noodle soup
Then Rooseselvelt Island
with its gorgeous views of Manhattan
and it’s arial tram back to the main island
It was fun seeing you Sus. Come again soon xx
Eli and Lachie’s first rosary with the Sunday School crew
Another one bites the dust…
Chicago to home
So a big sleep in – as in this Chicago weather we are accustomed to!
(at least being a Tuesday the breakfast crown wasn’t nearly as bad)
Rather than braving the elements today – we took a swim in the pool
Before heading the airport and home
Thanks Chicago – it is a gorgeous city that kindly allowed us to catch up on some sleep! We’ll have to come back when the weather is nicer!
Chicago day 3 – more indoor fun
Yes breakfast was still a zoo and we waaaay overslept…this is going to be a chilled visit to Chicago 🙂
A walk along Lake Michigan
The Planetarium
The Aquarium
we made it home super tired and had some down time
Willis Town for sunset
(no time for cocktail hour tonight!)
Millenium Park to see the bean
CHik-Fil-A which we’ve been wanting to try for ages but the queues in NY are too long!
and home 🙂
