A visitor at 2am
Good bye New York!
Hello Dominican Republic! After a cold sub-zero Christmas last year – we thought we would head south for winter this year…so we shopped for the best deal and we booked Punt Cana for the next week.
We arrived at the hotel at 2am (thank you delays!!!) but mum had organised room service for our arrival! Look who was on the room service tray…!
Ah! it is warm and relaxing even at 2am…it is going to be a great week 🙂

I was in the shower at 6:10am, casually washing my hair when I hear a blood curling SCREAM!!!!
Crap! that’s Lachie! Barrelling out the shower, I run into this beaming face – MOM!!! IT CAME OUT!!!
Finally! Poor Lachie has been growing a little impatient waiting for a tooth to fall out “)

Cyber Monday Sales
So excited! I bought crazily-cheap tickets to Morocco in the cyber-Monday sales…YAY!
Now the hard part – to convince the crew that they really do want to ride camels and camp in the Sahara…!
Meet Mini
So this year we will be away for Chrissy and so we thought we’d get a little tree. Mum was thinking that meant a 4-5 foot tree but NE+L totally embraced that idea and went in search of Mini (aptly named)
They found him…
…he drove us home…
…we decorated him…
…we ensure he had the best ornaments ever…
(which means a beyblade and all the ornaments the kids have brought home from school)
Ta Da! Welcome Mini to the family 🙂
Little bitty note
Eli lost tooth number nine
(much to Lachie’s grief as he still hasn’t lost one!)
She wrote the tooth fairy a note (which could also have been described as a book it was so long!)
Along with the obligatory dollar the tooth fairy left Eli an itty bitty note. It was so tiny Eli had to use a magnifying glass to read it.
The tooth fairy must be really tiny which explains why none of us have seen her 🙂
