All dressed up but where is the party?
It appears I’m at least 16 hours too early! Walking through Times Square was almost eerie this morning. The Belle was frocked up for the Ball, but where was the party?
(I have no fear that the party arrived later in the day and that the scene was entirely different!)

Magical Peddlers Village
After torturing Aunty Peta with the NJ obstacle course….
This afternoon we headed to Peddlers Village PA
for an awesome dinner (of ribs!) at the Buttonwood Grill and a stroll around the village. It was a little cold but still pretty magical. It even had a light snow flurry to add to the atmosphere.
Then we headed home to leave a note for Santa with some milk & chocolate before heading to bed.

Where do Chrissy trees come from?
We had planned on going to a Christmas tree farm and cutting our own…however we ran out of time and chose one from our local hardware shop instead 🙂
After donning the correct gear and mustering some energy…
(although it seems some of us are never short of energy?)
We carefully chose the best tree…
Had it prepped and wrapped…
Took it home…
Decorated it…
Had hot chocolate and danced around it.
Fait accompli. The tree is now ready for Christmas 🙂

The Unofficial Town Tree
One of the houses on a main street near us decorates the massive beautiful tree out the front of their house every year with Christmas lights.
We love it and will often detour just to see it!
