Easter Egg Hunt
We got ready…
Prior to the race, we spoke to the big fella and put in a good word for next weekend…
Lined up…
Get ready – said the mayor.
Get Set – said the bunny.
GO!!!!! Then we went! Off egg hunting! It was every man for himself!
Check out out haul 🙂
We even managed some playtime at the end 🙂
Maplewood has the best Easter Egg Hunt ever 🙂
Happy birthday elephant
Cherry Blossoms
We’re not going to make it to Washington to see the Cherry Blossoms and so we thought we’d check them out at Branch Brook Park (ten minutes away).
Cherry Blossoms are very popular in our house as they are in Mulan.
It was pretty cold and so we tried to check out the Cathedral next to the park but unfortunately it was locked 😦
Luckily we had some Girl Guide cookies (thanks Sam!) to help us through the cold 🙂
The Plan + The Artist
Green Pancakes
Elephants, Dragons and Bikes – Oh My!
Today we went to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus. It was awesome!
There were elephants…
Loud fast bikes…
A dragon…
Lion Taming, Trapeze Artists, Dancers and Sholin Monks and so much more…
We loved it 🙂
What more could anyone ask for? As advertised – it really is the greatest show on earth!
Lachie’s 3rd Party
Where do you take 15 3-year-olds when it is too cold to go to the park?
Jump zone….
It was so much fun – Lachie lay down and had a nap mid-party 😉
Eli got to bring a friend and she chose Ajuni from daycare 🙂
The brownie theme continued on to his party…
Besides all the ginormous bouncy things to play on, the highlight was probably the king chair…
He had a great time!
Three today
Stomp Stomp Clap Clap HOWWWWL
We took a mini break to Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains.
We thought the world as we knew it would be covered in snow at this point and thought this might be a nice escape. Little did we know at the time how lucky we’d be this year! We still had a great time though…
Storytime with Violet and the special “handshake” of sorts (the title might be a small clue…) was a particular highlight 🙂
Eli wants to make this an annual trip 🙂
Huge Pancakes and Pretty Falls
For mum’s birthday a road trip was in order!
So we went to Ridgewood for breakfast, to the Country Pancake House. They are meant to have the biggest pancakes ever – and we believe them 🙂 They were huge and yummy.
In the end, Lachie aknowledged he was beaten by the pancakes and decided it was best to just eat the choc chips out 🙂
Afterwards we had a quick walk around town and then headed to Patterson Falls. Unfortunately it is still pretty cold and so the emphasis is on the “quick”, but it was still lots of fun
