Finally…
There was no more being cooped up indoors….
Finally we could try out some of our Chrissy pressies. We played with the sleds:
Did a little rock hunting:
Made snow angels:
Followed by mom’s hot chocolate!
What a great addition to a weekend snow is 🙂

There is snow out my window…
…if it would just stop snowing we could head outside and make snowmen and snow angels!
Although it is only 6:30am and so there is still plenty of time 🙂

Sleigh-mobile
Transport by Sleigh is very popular this time of year…all the cool people are doing it.
The girls are loving it as their skirts don’t get crinkled 🙂
Surely there is no better way to travel.

- I have some great sayings that are useful for the whole family. Like:
“You get what you get and you don’t get upset” - I love to color and draw. I am getting better at it every day.
- I love chicken nuggets and ice cream cones but will happily eat tomatoes, cucumber, chicken, any meat, prunes(!), fries.
- I love barbies, fairies and princesses. Jasmine is my favourite Disney Princess at the moment.
- I still hate wearing my hair up and want it to grow as long as Rapunzel’s.
- I am extremely patient with Lachlan. Mum is often surprised at how long I can be patient for.
- I love make believe and pretend games.
- I know how to manipulate Lachie into doing what I want him too 😉
- I am getting really good at my letters and short words 🙂
- I love dancing and singing.
- I am gentle, kind and thoughtful.

I’ve made it to two years and ten months with a few bumps and bruise and lots of laughs along the way:
- I am not stop action and love a bit of rough and tumble.
- I love collecting rocks and sticks (see the piccie of some of the gems I’ve collected).
- I love to sing at the top of my voice.
- I am kind but definitely not gentle. I’m kind-of working on that…
- I love to quote lines out of movies randomly.
- I hate wearing beanies and jackets and gloves and all the things that must go on in minus ten degree weather.
- I am very social and love to be the life of the party.
- I know how to manipulate mum with a kiss and a hug.
- My favourite foods are Lachie cheese (grated sharp cheddar), brie and brownies. Although I am very partial to chicken, meat and hotdogs.
- I can dance with the best of them! Although I like to dance with a very focussed intense expression on my face. No dance is complete with out a few karate kicks and breakdancing down-on-all-fours moves.
- My favourite song is one that I’ve made up: Just do it, just do it, just do it…” Mum and dad are not sure where this one comes from…maybe a cross between Michael Jackson’s Beat It and The Black Eyed Peas’ I Gotta Feeling. In I Gotta Feeling, I’m particularly good at piping in with a MAZALTOV!!!”
- I love pirates and superheroes.
- I love doing puzzles. Particularly my dinosaur ones!
- I love playing tackles and wrestles with Dad. (Playing with mom just always ends up in a hug?)
- I love playing with cars and trucks and trains.
- I’m a big boy now – there is no convincing me to have a midday nap anymore 😦
Twinkle Twinkle Little Zoo
Our local Zoo has decorated the place with Christmas lights.
It is just magical too walk around and it was fun seeing animals that move and ones in lights. If only it wasn’t so cold 🙂
The highlight for Lachie was seeing Frosty the Snow Man and a Ninja Turtle there. These pictures don’t convey his pure prolonged excitement at seeing them!
Jump Zone
What better way to burn off some extra energy than to go to a warehouse full of air-filled themed toys like Jump Zone. Particulary when it is freezing (literally!) cold outside. We had a ball! Who wouldn’t in a place that has both a princess castle and Batman’s lair.
The only shame is that it is 50 minutes from home 😦 but we can go occasionally as a special treat!
Brownie Monster
Who knew we had a brownie monster in the house? Lachie managed to polish off an entire tin of brownies (thanks Maryanne) in two days (it is Christmas afterall!) pretty much on his own.
Lachie is not the neatest of eaters, but when it comes to brownies he doesn’t drop a crumb 🙂
Bianca was also very disappointed to watch her Christmas supplies diminish at a rapid pace. Compliments of Eli (aka Twistie monster), Nathan (aka Fruit Tingle and Violet Crumble monster). Thank goodness none of them drink coffee or there may have been a family riot!
