The Big Screen
Mum & I went to the Hoyts Mums and Bubs session today and she is so proud of me.
I slept for the first hour.
Then I ate for a while.
Then I watched the big screen until the end of the movie quite happily…..or so mum thought I was watching the movie but really I was checking out the other kids 🙂
I wonder if dad has seen the big screen? I am sure he would like a big one like that at home. It’s his birthday on Saturday, I’ll have to talk to mum…..
The eyes have it
Dad has blue eyes.
Mum has brown eyes (possibly with a blue recessive gene).
We were wandering what colour eyes I am going to have – blue or brown?
So we took a few photos on a few different colour backgrounds (white, brown, blue and of course pink!) – to try and guess. Check these out – I look like a bit of stunned mullet in some of them 🙂
With a flash…
Without a flash…
Apparently we won’t know for sure for a while….but I’m guessing brown?
Otherwise Occupied
Fraser Women
Camouflage
The soccer was on.
The rugby was on.
…and the big kids were off to the local pub. So I spent the afternoon working out how I could get in too without a fake id.
I came up with “The Camouflage Plan”…..pretty clever hey? (see photos with dad – left and right top)
It worked like a dream!
The bouncer didn’t bat an eyelid on our way in.
Unfortunately it took up so much of my energy working out the plan, that I was exhausted by the time we got to the pub – so I missed the game 😦

This Harry Dude Rocks
I haven’t seen any of the movies or read any of the books – but this Harry dude is really working for me……
Saturday 14th July
They did it! They left me! (Here is a picture of me before the olds left – a little apprehensive – but I soon got into the swing of things)
Mum and Dad went and saw the Harry Potter movie without me…..and you know what – they can do it again! I had a great time with Grandma, Grandpa and Great-Grandma. Lots of attention. Lots of cuddles. It was all good. How long until the next Harry Potter movie? I can’t wait 🙂
Here are some pictures from throughout the day of Great Grandma, Cousin Emma, Uncle Steve….
Saturday 22nd July
Then on Saturday….we were up at the shops just after nine to pick up a copy of the new Harry Potter book. We took some piccies to mark the momentous occasion (not that I am sure what all the fuss is about, but Mum and Dad sure are excited). Unfortunately by the time we got to the shops, one of the people starring in the piccies was knackered from all of the excitement…..
What do I get out of this – you ask? On Sunday night Mum spent two hours on the couch snuggling me (anything to keep me quiet!) while reading Harry Potter. Fabulous – I can see lots of snuggles in the week ahead while mum finishes the book 🙂
Me In Mum’s Tum
These were taken the night before my eviction 😦
Now you see me….
Now you don’t…..
You can’t miss me from this angle…..
More Piccies….
I thought I’d put some of my photos up…..
Favourite Aunty (self proclaimed and as yet uncontested by cheezel bribes) visiting me at the hospital.
Me telling Uncle Andrew how jealous I am of his hair (mine is falling out and he has loads of it).
Grandpa and I at my favourite pub: The Great Northern.
Me a little upset when the girls (Becky Nettleton and Emma Rogers) have to go home 😦
Juliette Mary
It finally happened! I only had to wait ten weeks….there is someone smaller (just!) and younger than me. The stork finally brought Aunty Becky and Uncle Steve my new friend – Juliette Mary – on Monday morning. She looks like she is going to be lots of fun.
Last night we went to the hospital to visit her. Here is a piccie of me all dressed up ready to go.
Here are some piccies of Juliette. The second one is of Juliette with her sister Emma and her dad Steve.
Now I have four cool cousins – Tom and Milly (in Middle Mount with Aunty Cinty and Uncle Gav) and Emma and Juliette. It all just says “lots of fun and games” to me 🙂
Who’s been sleeping in my bed?
Who said that Papa Bear’s bed was too hard?
Who said that Mama Bear’s bed was too soft?
To me, it’s just right!
