Moving and a-grooving @ 9m
- I love music and will happily bop in time.
- I can Hi-5 along with the best of them and will wave for mum.
- I love to sing with Eli and dad.
- I can sit for hours (at least half of one anyway 🙂
- I can do push-ups (and tummy time) along with the best of them.
- I can do consecutive rolls (I just started today so that I had something to blog about!)
- I am still very happy and smiley.
- Mum – I am starting to get too big for all-in-ones!
- i get bored easily and so I like to do new stuff constantly.
- My favourite foods are Weetbix and yoghurt (separately of course!)
- I like to have two long naps during the day. At night, I still like to interupt everyone’s sleep with calls for cuddles. I would hate for them to forget that I am here 🙂
- My hair has a disctinct red tinge….was it the post-man?
- I love charming strangers with my smile.
Summer days
Hot summer days in Sydney are best spent lazing around in the pool with the girls!
Note from Dad: Although the Dad’s don’t look like they are working hard, it was a little oppressive in 42C heat and everyone else was inside enjoying the air conditioning.
A typical morning
This is a typical morning in our new apartment at the start of summer in 2009/10 … Lots of sun. Lachie sitting up with his dummy and toys. Dora in the background. Elimena carrying baby around and making lots of noise with things like her flute. Lachlan grabbing hair and laughing as Elimena gently teaches him how to play. Intricate line of cards on the floor as Eli does some organising.

Santa and Kathy his helper at playcare
A few weeks ago, I started going to playcare on Fridays. This is a good introduction for me before I start full time in January, but I also wanted to give Mum and Eli a chance to enjoy some time together on “adventure Friday’s”.
Here are some photos of me at the Christmas Party. It was great! I met Santa for the first time and had some great cuddles from Santa’s Little Helper (who I’m pretty sure was Kathy – one of the people who take such great care of me!).

My three favourite things around the house at the moment are: Baby, Mum’s high heels and Wiggles Band-aids.
A bit of excitement
Mum and dad were looking a bit bored on Wednesday night (the 12th) and so I thought I would provide them with some excitement. So I decided that instead of sitting on my own unaided for 10 seconds, I would up my efforts to 20 minutes. They were awestruck at my new stamina. I got lots of attention and praise (sorry Elimena!).
I’ve decided I like this whole sitting up thing. I get a much better view of the world this way 🙂
@ 30 months
- I don’t need my daytime sleep all the time mum…
- I can be quite mischieveous and am back to checking boudaries.
- I am loving my big girl swimming classes (i.e. no parents in the water – just cool kids).
- I love milkshakes, chicken nuggets, raisin toast and rock melon.
- I love playing with baby dolls. I like to feed them from my belly button! That’s right isn’t it?
- I love walking around the house in my high heels pushing baby in the stroller.
- At PlayCare I love the sandpit, riding bikes and throwing my hat in the tree.
- I can spell Elimena – “E-L-I-muble-mumble-A”!
Wondersuits
While Elimena has some beautiful fashion outfits, my baby collection is a little more limited. But … it’s what you do with it.
Rather than individual style, I prefer to go with team co-ordinated outfits and what better than the simple, iconic Bonds Wondersuit. Available in sizes 0000 to 2, it’s cute, comfortable and very cuddly. (Sorry Mum, you just have to enjoy the cuddles from us as they don’t come in your size…).
