More Magic in the Kingdom
The happiest place on Earth?
Indeed it is the happiest place on Earth!
After a short drive…
We made it to the place where everyone is extremely helpful, friendly and full of fun!
Everyone was there! The highlights were watching Elimena (as the magic fork & spoon) and Lachlan (as the Beast!!!) in a play with Belle
And a magical lunch with Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore and the Kaesers (Chris, Courtney, Henry, June and their Grandparents)
What a magical day!
Heading North
Today it was time to pick up the hire car, say goodbye to Miami and head north.
First stop was for a super yummy breaky and a quick look at Delray Beach.
Then a drive through the ultra exclusive Palm Beach…
(look we even found Australian Ave)
…and on to Cape Canaveral to the Kennedy Space Center
Okay so we didn’t have time to squeeze in the manatee board walk, but we did see a coyote and alligators…
(can you spot them in these pictures?)
Before heading to Cocoa Beach for the night 🙂
Miami – day two
First stop – a hearty bagel breakfast! Yummo! Then we were off! We grabbed a train out to Vizcaya – a beautiful old seaside house and gardens.

Then a bus down the miracle mile – which was a little under whelming. Perhaps you need to enter those expensive looking shops for it to be impressive?
Off to the gorgeous old Biltmore Hotel. Here Nathan and the kids headed off to the Golf Club for a burger + fries, whilst David, Annette & Bianca had high tea…we all have differing opinions on who got the best deal there!
A walk around Coral Gables…
past the ever-elusive swim at the Venetian Pool.
Back to the hotel via the hive of activity downtown – construction, endearing draw bridges, cool buildings,…
…for a rest before dinner & a little more monorail surfing.
Another fun day 🙂
Heading south
We checked into our hotel and then headed out to Little Havana for a late Cuban-style lunch at Versailles Restaurant.
We had a little walk through Little Havana
before grabbing the bus back to our hotel to rest any tired but gorgeous little feet.

In the evening we got the monorail around down town…
(it is amazing how a little monorail surfing can fill the time…)
before walking along the waterfront where we had dinner.
Our holiday was off to a great start. Even a tired glassy-eyed Mr Lach gave day 1 the big thumbs up 🙂

Candy galore!
Finally the much anticipated Halloween arrived! The day started by being Boo’ed! Which is like knock and run but with candy! It was off to a great start!
(thanks Milo + Jack!)

…then school…
…then the school Halloween parade
Both Eli + Lachie’s classes had a Halloween party…
Then our town parade…
(and a piccie of our friends Sasha, Rob and Adara – voted best dressed family)

…dinner…
…trick or treating with our neighbours…
whose house is that?
the stash
Then bed. What an awesome day!
Halloween Eve drive
Halloween Eve Eve
Giggle and Hoot Stars
